Actuators

All positions of this bed are achieved by powerful, reliable, and low noise actuators. As the actuators have IP66 rating, they are protected against ingression of dust and water. This prominent feature of actuators makes it easy to clean and disinfect the bed in the medical centres regularly

CPR Mechanism

Two CPR quick release handles are located on either side of the bed for easy and fast access in the case of an emergency. The manual quick-release mechanism operates independently from the electrical CPR of the bed that makes it fully operational even if the power is cut off.

Bumpers

Innovative rotary bumpers which are located on four corners of 4091V3 can prevent to a large extent the damages that may occur due to unwanted collision of the bed to the surroundings during transportation.

Neutralizing Springs

The application of springs in the mechanism neutralizes the imposed pressure on actuators and consequently enhances their performance and durability.

Mattress Platforms

The ABS mattress platforms of this bed are produced by the injection moulding method. These platforms have some remarkable features such as smooth surfaces, high durability, and easy to remove for cleaning and disinfection. Plus, the mattress platforms are compatible with steam cleaning. Holes on the mattress platform let the air ventilate freely under the mattress.

Urine Bag Holder

The bed is equipped with a urine bag holder which can be easily installed on either side of the bed.

Embedded Control Panel

Embedded Control Panel User-friendly embedded control panels are located on both safety sides of the head section. Using the control keyboards on internal and external parts of safety sides, the patient and caregiver are able to adjust the backrest, knee rest, and height of the bed.

Head & Foot Boards

The seamless blow-moulded bed ends of 4091V3 are lightweight, durable, and easy to clean. The bed ends are of high quality and compatible with steam cleaning. To have better access to the patient’s head in emergency cases, the caregiver can easily remove the bed ends by grasping the handholds and lifting them up in one single step. Moreover, the bed ends have integrated steel fittings which make them extremely rigid; so, the nursing staff can move the bed by holding and pushing them without worries.

Safety Sides

4091V3 has retractable overlapping safety sides, with embedded control keyboards for the patient and caregiver. Providing a protective height and length, the sides adhere to the highest standards of safety to prevent patient fall and entrapment.

Central Locking Casters

The 150 mm central locking casters move smoothly, ensuring quick and easy transport for the nursing staff. Additionally, the foot pedals allow for an effortless transition between the three modes of the central locking system: safe central locking (down), easy manoeuvring and positioning (middle), and fast directional movement (up), which provides a fluid and consistent movement making the bed easily transportable by a single person.

Nurse Control Panel

Easy to use Attendant Control Panel (ACP) with illustrative schematics located at the foot end of the bed provides all required positions including Electric CPR, Trendelenburg, and Reverse Trend. To decrease the risk of patient falls or positioning of the bed without nursing staff supervision, the attendant control panel is equipped with nurse lock buttons. As the ACP has IP66 rating, it is resistant against dust and water.
